Next week we will be celebrating our 10th Birthday.
10 years of business – WOW – and what a year it has been! We are so grateful to be back in our wonderful client’s homes.
I created M&M Eco to offer families a chemical free eco home cleaning service as an alternative to the many companies still using dangerous chemicals and to provide education on how we can all contribute to the protection of our precious, beautiful, awe inspiring planet that connects all of us and sustains our lives in so many ways.
My first and subsequent years on “the tools” led to the development of M&M Eco’s signature cleaning methods and the establishment of our now 10 Melbourne-wide teams of wonderful M&M Eco family members.
Our families ‘feel the love’, feel the caring and the respect that is left behind from our team as we take away the worries of the day.
When I look back at those early days of being on the tools, I have so many fond memories. Here’s one of my favorites – when Dermy the goat wanted to come home with me after cleaning a home. The enormous fun and joy I felt in cleaning people homes has stayed with me.
The development of my signature cleaning methods also led to the creation of our own natural cleaning products, that were not only good for the environment, they actually worked. My clients always love the beautiful smell of the handmade blends so the COVID-19 lockdown provided me with time to further develop the range, beyond just cleaning.
I am therefore extremely excited to share the upcoming launch of M&M Eco’s sister company Marjorie & May.
So … What is Marjorie & May? It’s Pure and Natural Home and Body Care Handcrafted by local artisans in Australia.
The brand is inspired by two amazing women that influenced my childhood and started me on my journey of loving and caring for nature. My Great Aunt Marjorie was a water colour artist and basket weaver (using our native Australian grasses), and her first cousin who was May Gibbs, famous Australian Author of Children’s books – Snugglepot and Cuddlepie being one of the most recognisable!
I grew up on bush excursions with Aunt Marjorie and May’s amazing stories inspired by the Australian bush.
Both women were strong, yet sensitive, funny and quirky, led simple yet rich lives, loved, respected and helped protect our wilderness through showcasing its beauty and magic on paper in word, stories and paint. Their life’s work and dedication to sharing the Australian Bush magic was between 1910 and1970, both living well into their 90’s
I feel like the third woman, the little Sister of the bunch, here to continue the stories and passion Marjorie and May shared to create awareness of our deep connection with nature and how ‘at all costs’ we must save our planet for the next generation to live and thrive on. They were Eco Warrior Goddesses of their time. This is now my time to honor them, their contribution, and continue the story to make a real difference. This is a dedication to Marjorie and May, the Australian Bush and all its beautiful flora and fauna.
I’m excited to be bringing you our familiar, but rebranded, M&M Eco cleaning products plus new home and body care products made with Pure Essential Oils and Australian Native Ingredients!
25 products are ready to launch by the end of November and next week I will be inviting you all to join our VIP Founding Members Group, where you’ll receive member-only exclusive updates, promos and special gifts! You can also join the launch contest to get the chance to win a major prize!

Please also start thinking about your cleaning and housekeeping needs leading up to and over the Christmas period. Tammie and Poppy would love to start scheduling. We are also preparing some great hints and tips for upcoming newsletters and social media about planning and providing an eco-friendly and sustainable festive season.
So – I would once again like to take the opportunity to thank our valued clients, past and present, who have supported us along the way, and here’s to the next 10 years.
With Love and gratitude.
